Application Rate and Methods for Highway Construction Projects

Minimum application rate: 200 kg per hectare
This is equivalent to 178 lbs per acre. For site-specific rates, contact our team.

Application methods:

  • Broadcast + incorporate: Apply to the surface and work into the top 5 cm (2”) before seeding
  • Banded: Place at 2–5 cm (1-2”) depth prior to planting
  • In-furrow: Apply directly with the seed
  • Hydroseeding: Mix into hydroseeding tank with tackifier and mulch; agitate continuously

No special equipment is required. H-Start Reclaim fits easily into most standard reclamation workflows.
