How to use the calculator:

H-Start application is based on either banding H-Start at planting or broadcasting on an 8-12” row width. If row width is greater than 12” (for example, two rows are planted 8” apart), then the rate will need to be increased.

Step 1: Input row length in feet.

Step 2: Input row spacing in inches.

H-Start rate per acre and pounds of H-Start required per row will be calculated for you.
